As a child, when we were traveling I remember getting a "basket," at a diner or drive in. Chicken nuggets aren't that hard to make, as long as you are already, frying, do a few potato fries and some vegetable, pat off the oil, it is still healthier than most fast food.
Food is important, especially as we age. I am not going to sell any food but I will share ideas for things to eat.
I have a trick that I will share, I think of something like a type of meat and then I go to Google translate, choose a language spoken in the country that I want to explore. I type in English, something like Egg recipes, or Beef recipes and copy the result in the other language box. Then I paste it into a Google search, enter and click on images. Click on something that looks good, often there is a box in the upper right where you can translate back to English. Fast food tastes good but it isn't interesting to me, so most of the American food I make is something one might get at a diner.
I will share images just to give you ideas.
Don't forget about the ethnic markets, you can get the real deal. Shrimp aren't any different than crayfish, all the flavor is in the head. Mexican shrimp with chili toreados, add raw vegetable and or pico de gallo.
